 Hii Budding Lawyers, this is Prasanna Naidu and I welcome you to this channel From the past few years of this Internet age, online education has increased manifold So, today we are going to talk about online courses for lawyers and law students I' am not going to give you a long list of all these courses, But, will surely talk about websites which offer these courses Some of the courses are paid while some are free There are many websites which are offering such courses related to Indian law and practice Some of them are - MyLaw.net Indian Academy of law and management nujs.edu and many more There are many other websites, which do not offer courses specifically related to Indian law But, general topics like contracts international law, criminal law, law and justice, etc. 

Some of those well-known websites are harvard.edu, Coursera future learn, edX.org, udemy But while surfing through the internet I found a website which is like a database, database of all these websites. The name of this website is class central.com So, you just have to search a topic on that website and that website will show you all the courses related to that topic available on other websites other web sites like Coursera, edX etc. But, why must you enroll into such courses?? What are the advantages? You may also think that why to waste money on such courses Law is very huge and your college is going to cover only those areas which are covered in your University's syllabus. So, such courses will provide you with that practical knowledge which your law degree was unable to provide It will also add a certificate to your CV You will save your travel time Because, you don't have to go anywhere you just need a laptop or your mobile and your earphones Then just sit at any comfortable place in your house There are no time restrictions you can watch it anytime you want, according to your schedule And you can watch it as many times as you need If you're a student and have already decided in which area of law you are going to work then taking up courses related to that area of law will help you grow faster. 

Even if you haven't decided that you must still take such courses Because,  when you start working you will come across many cases dealing with multiple areas of law So your knowledge will never go waste. Talking about the money your parents will mostly not stop you from investing in such educational courses even if you think that it will burden your parents unnecessary then you can easily arrange the money by saving some part of your salary or by earning it by doing some part-time jobs and yeah as said earlier many websites offer free courses too now the question arises which course to choose and how. I obviously don't suggest you to keep on enrolling in all such online courses because it takes time and money both. In addition to that think practically by choosing a course for example if you have worked for a decent amount of time in a consumer organization or with a lawyer who practices solely in consumer law and you're confident that you know in and out about consumer law then enrolling into a course about basics of consumer law won't make sense you must choose a topic from which you learn something newa topic you already do know much about all things are fine but what about the quality what if I pay for the course and then re alize that it was not at all worth.For that, you can do some homework ask for reviews from your friends who have done the course, check if that website has a youtube channel too.. 

if they have then go through the videos also do read some comments, just google it you may come across some media articles or Quora answers regarding that company.
